Terms of Service

Effective: April 21, 2026 - Rev 1.2

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TagBridge (the "App"), which is operated by Foundry Pixel ("Foundry Pixel," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

TagBridge is a general-audience utility app for personal photo management. It is not directed to children under 16. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the App only with appropriate parent or guardian supervision, particularly in connection with paid purchases and transfer-destination credentials.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, Foundry Pixel grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal or internal household photo-management use.

You may not:

3. Service Description

TagBridge is an on-device photo metadata management app. It helps you process photos locally, organize them with tags, detect faces and text, cluster trips, and transfer tagged copies to destinations you configure. It is not a hosted photo service and does not store your photo library on Foundry Pixel servers during normal use.

4. Free Trial, Subscriptions, and Lifetime Purchase

TagBridge offers a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial ends, paid access is required to continue using the App.

Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective policies.

5. Your Photos, Metadata, and Support Materials

You retain ownership of your photos, metadata, tags, and other content processed through the App. TagBridge does not claim ownership of your content.

Because TagBridge operates primarily on-device, Foundry Pixel generally does not need a server-side content license for your photo library. If you choose to send us screenshots, exports, backups, logs, or similar materials for support, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use those materials only as reasonably necessary to review, troubleshoot, and resolve the issue.

6. Transfers, Backups, and External Destinations

You are responsible for the destinations, credentials, network environments, and permissions you configure in the App. When you direct the App to connect to SMB, WebDAV, Google Drive, PhotoPrism, or another supported destination, TagBridge connects directly to that destination on your behalf.

You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and authority to connect to, upload to, and store files in the destinations you configure. Foundry Pixel is not responsible for destination outages, third-party retention practices, account restrictions, or losses caused by destination-side misconfiguration or provider behavior.

7. Optional Metadata Writes and Backups

By default, TagBridge processes your library locally and exports tagged copies for transfers and backups without modifying the originals stored in your photo library.

If you explicitly enable the optional Apple Photos keyword export feature, TagBridge may write tag metadata to the original photo on your device. You are responsible for deciding whether to enable that feature and for understanding how your local photo-library ecosystem handles those metadata changes.

If you create backups, those backups may contain tags, face groupings, rules, trips, settings, and related App data until you delete them from their storage location.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use TagBridge to:

9. Feature Limitations and Accuracy

Face grouping, OCR, source detection, trip clustering, rules, and transfer automation are assistive features only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate in particular cases. You are responsible for reviewing the App's output before relying on it for organization, export, deletion, sharing, or archival decisions.

TagBridge is not a biometric identification, law-enforcement, employment, insurance, or high-stakes decision-making tool.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party providers, including Apple and Google for billing and platform distribution, RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management, Google ML Kit for on-device face and text recognition, Google Drive for optional user-authorized transfers, and Cloudflare for website delivery. Foundry Pixel is not responsible for third-party services, websites, or policies, except to the extent required by law.

11. Ownership

The App, including its software, design, trademarks, branding, text, graphics, and other content provided by Foundry Pixel, is owned by Foundry Pixel or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other applicable laws.

Except for the limited license expressly granted above, no rights are granted to you.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and availability.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components, or that face grouping, OCR, trip detection, rules, exports, or transfers will work perfectly on every device, network, or destination.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foundry Pixel and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, use, data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the App.

This includes, without limitation, loss or corruption of tags, exports, backups, transfer history, or metadata; destination failures; destination account lockouts; or mistakes in automated grouping, OCR, rules, or trip detection.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foundry Pixel's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Foundry Pixel and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:

16. Platform-Specific Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms, rules, and policies of the store or platform through which you downloaded it. If those platform terms impose additional restrictions, you agree to comply with them.

Apple Inc. is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or warranty for the App. In the event of a failure to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. 17. Changes to These Terms

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Washington, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
